To help people encounter Jesus and grow in Worship, Discipleship, and Mission.

Values


We are committed to living out the good news of Jesus Christ. These six values show priorities and how we make decisions.

1. Worship and Presence

  • We value worshiping God & the power of His presence.
  • We make time for worship and prayer.
  • This honours Him & changes us.

 

 

2. Built on Jesus

  • Christ is our firm foundation & we rest on His word the Bible.
  • Jesus builds our lives on level ground.
  • This is for every age & every stage.

 

 

3. Family of God

  • We value the family of God.
  • He established the family & sets the lonely in families.
  • We mature by being part of His family.

 

 

4. Work + Rest

  • We sit & serve; work & sabbath.
  • God builds the church & our lives – through hard work & real rest.
  • We build a rhythm of both serving God & receiving from His hand.

 

 

5. Generosity

  • We give our time, abilities & finances.
  • The tithe is a floor, not the ceiling.
  • Our church budget demonstrates this.

 

 

 

6. Legacy

We live on purpose to leave this legacy:

Place

  • A large church, with appropriate building, to serve Stoney Creek.

People

  • New believers coming to Jesus.
  • Disciples growing & on mission.
  • Forming leaders in each generation.

Planting

  • Churches multiplied here and globally.

 

 

Our Fellowship

We are part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and its Western Ontario District.

We are grateful for their resources, wisdom and encouragement: as well as their church planting organizations - Multiply Network at the national level, and New Churches Network in Western Ontario.

Our Partner Church

As a new church plant, we operate as a ministry of Living Word Ministries, a PAOC church on the Hamilton Mountain.

They provide organizational resources, leadership, process all donations and provide tax receipts.
